Description	:	Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Edwards, 84, widow of Robert M. died Sunday morning at 4 o'clock at the home of her son, Clarence H. Edwards of Moninger. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Edwards was born September 15, 1858, at Unionport, Ohio, a daughter of Thomas and Katherine Davis Rittenhouse. She had been a resident of the Canonsburg community for a number of years and was a member of the First Methodist Church of Canonsburg. Read More	Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Edwards, 84, widow of Robert M. died Sunday morning at 4 o'clock at the home of her son, Clarence H. Edwards of Moninger. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Edwards was born September 15, 1858, at Unionport, Ohio, a daughter of Thomas and Katherine Davis Rittenhouse. She had been a resident of the Canonsburg community for a number of years and was a member of the First Methodist Church of Canonsburg. After coming to Canonsburg in 1884, Mrs. Edwards took an active part in church and social affairs of the community. In the Methodist church she taught in the church school and assisted in the music department as long as her health permitted. For 17 years she served as treasurer of the Women's Foreign Missionary society. She was a charter member of the Canonsburg Library board and of the local WCTU, was an original member of the Temperance Crusaders founded in Ohio, and held membership in the Shakespeare club, serving in various official capacities. She is survived, by one son, Clarence H. Edwards, at whose home she died. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. from the McNary Funeral Home, West Pike street, where friends are being received. The Rev. L. K.
