Rosary was said for the deceased at the Mitchell Funeral Home Sunday evening at eight o'clock. Reverend Father Denis, parish priest, officiated at the services. Mrs. Wagerman was born to the union of James and Bridget Quinn March 10, 1868 at Earl Park, Indiana. She was 87 years, three months and 21 days old at the time of her death. Mrs. Wagerman, who has been a resident of this community for the past 31 years, has been in failing health for the past several years. She fractured her hip a few years ago and never fully regained her health since that accident. She passed away Friday, July 1, 1955 at the Mayo Nursing Home where she had been a guest. In the year 1879 Mrs. Wagerman, then 11-years-old, came to Nebraska with her parents who homesteaded in Furnas County. In May of 1888 she was united in marriage to John Wagerman and to this union two sons were born. Her husband died in 1939. She is survived by her two sons, Arthur of Richmond, California and Joseph of Longmont, Colorado; her brother Mike Quinn of Beaver City; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren besides a host of friends made during a lifetime of friendship and service extended to those in time of need. Interment was made in the Oxford Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Quinn, George Quinn, Ed Quinn, Emery Quinn, William Quinn and Floyd Quinn, all nephews. Hopping-Haase Funeral Home of Beaver City was in charge of arrangements.
