It shows him as married, Fam #290. ******************** Phoenix, Arizona: Sarah "Isabel" Lingenfelter, former long-time Angwin resident, died Sunday, March 14, in Phoenix, Arizona after a brief illness. She was 87. Mrs. Lingenfelter was born October 28, 1894 in Ferndale, California and moved with her family to Brownsville, Oregon where she grew up and attended schools. She married Melvin Otto Lingenfelter Nov. 26, 1914 in Brownsville and they lived in Cornelius, Oregon, Port Angeles, Washington, and Yakima, Washington before moving to Angwin in 1931. Her husband had the Star Postal Route that covered the Angwin and Deer Park area for 28 years. He died April, 1979 and Mrs. Lingenfelter moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to be near her daughter. She was a member of the Pacific Union College Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Gwynne Schwartz of Scottsdale; one sister, Marian Miller of Milton Freewater, Oregon; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in St. Helena. Entombment will be in the St. Helena Cemetery.
