Description	:	Gravestone inscription says "dau of J.M. and F. Jones, m. S.W." Daughter of John M. and Frances Jones. Married Sanford W. Boring, who was born Sept 1841 in Illinois. In 1870, they are in Anderson Co., KS with their 4 month old son Thomas (daughter Flora will be born and die 2 yrs later and Sarah will die as well about 1 wk after Flora is born). In 1880, Sanford is in Spring Hill, Johnson Co., KS with a new wife and three young children. His son Thomas W., however, is not living with them.... Thomas is living in Baldwin City, Douglas Co., KS with his grandparents, John and Frances Jones. I cannot find Sarah's stone. The inscription I've entered here comes from the Anderson County Cemetery book. I believe the stone is no longer in the cemetery. I think it used to sit right next to her infant daughter Flora's stone. There is a base stone on the ground next to Flora's, but the stone itself is not sitting on the base. I'm certain this was Sarah's stone. It was apparently there when the cemetery book was published because the stone inscription is there in the book. However, the stone is not there now. I can't even find it in the small pile of destroyed and knocked over stones at the center of the cemetery. Note: The 1 yr old child named George "Georgie" Jones who is also buried in the Ozark #1 Cemetery is Sarah's nephew. He's the baby son of her younger brother Wesley Jones. Sarah and Wesley are the children of John M. and Francis Jones. Sarah's aunt, Elizabeth Jones Price, is buried in the Ozark #1 Cemetery as well.
