Description	:	Miss Sarah Schelbitzki, daughter of the late Wencil Schelbitzki and his wife, Marie Kruta Schelbitzki, pioneers, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1952, at 12:10 noon, at the Hebron Memorial Hospital, where for almost two weeks she lay in a coma state. She attained the age of 75 years, 2 months and 17 days. Sarah was born September 23, 1877 on her parents homestead five miles north of Ohiowa. One of her joys was in visiting in the homes of her sisters and brothers. In June, 1952, she entered the Blue Valley Lutheran Home at Hebron until her last illness. Her brothers and sisters kept vigil at her bedside, rendering every courtesy possible. To mourn her passing are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sieber of Ohiowa and Mrs. Anna Rippe of Sidney, Neb.; four brothers, Anton, Frank, Henry and Gus, all of Ohiowa community; nieces and nephews and a host of friends, who felt kindly toward Sarah in her affliction. Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Mrs. Antonie Krisl in 1935. Funeral services were held at the Milligan Auditorium, Friday afternoon, December 12, 1952 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Mayson of Western officiating. The song service was rendered by Mrs. E. A. Havel and Mrs. James Hamouz with Mrs. Milo Kottas at the organ.
