Description	:	Died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Omaha, Neb., September 1, 1902, Mrs. Sarah V. Hiser Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Black Hawk County, Iowa, October 16, 1856. She came with her parents to Nebraska in 1880, and was married to Wm. O. Jenkins in 1882. To them two children were born, one a daughter, now grown to womanhood, and a son who died when he was three years old. Read More	Died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Omaha, Neb., September 1, 1902, Mrs. Sarah V. Hiser Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Black Hawk County, Iowa, October 16, 1856. She came with her parents to Nebraska in 1880, and was married to Wm. O. Jenkins in 1882. To them two children were born, one a daughter, now grown to womanhood, and a son who died when he was three years old. She became a Christian when seventeen years old, and joined the German Reformed Church. Afterward she became a member of the Presbyterian Church and has ever since been a true and faithful member. Often too ill to attend church herself, she upheld and rejoiced in having her husband work in the church. She was a kind, loving and faithful wife and mother, and a kind and loving daughter and sister. She leaves a husband, daughter, aged mother and two sisters and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Her last words to her sister were, "I am only trusting." A few minutes later she told her husband, "I am waiting." The body was brought to Edgar Wednesday, September 3. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. C.H. Mitchelmore in the Presbyterian Church, after which the remains were interred in the Edgar Cemetery.
