Description	:	Services for Scott E. Bingham, 81, retired interior decorator, were held Thursday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Larry Moore officiated. Burial was in the Groton Union Cemetery. Mr. Bingham died January 28 at Colonial Manor in Groton. Music was provided by Lee Schinkel, soloist, who sang “Rock of Ages” and “Abide With Me,” accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Alberts, organist. He married Gladine Litzkow on September 9, 1922, at Aberdeen. He was a retired interior decorator. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and had been a resident of the Groton area since 1900. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Darrel of Minneapolis and Carrol of Saratoga, Calif.; seven daughters, Mrs. Merrill (Margaret) McCary of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Marvin (Marion) May of Groton, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Eckert of Menomonie, Wis., Miss Glenna Bingham of Peoria, Ill., Mrs. George (Patricia) Ladika of Simi Valley, Calif., Mrs. Manuel (Yula) Nunes of Morgan Hill, Calif., and Mrs. Thomas (Sondra) Lierman of Menomonie,; sixteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and two brothers. Paetznick – Garness Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
