Description	:	KIRON, Iowa -- Seldon D. Buller, 83, of Kiron died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Kiron, with the Rev. Glenn Lundahl officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery. Buller was born in Kiron on April 7, 1919, the son of Ruben and Sadie (Bergstrom) Buller. He was raised in Kiron, where he received his education, graduating from Kiron High School with the class of 1936. Following his schooling, he was employed by area farmers and the Standard Station in Kiron. On Feb. 20, 1939, he was united in marriage with Sylvia Danielson in Odebolt, Iowa. Their union was blessed with three children, Mervin, Judy and Jerry. They moved to the Buller homestead farm at Old Kiron in 1941, where he began his long farming career. In 1976, he was proud to have the farm designated as a Century Farm. Sylvia died Jan. 10, 1992. He retired shortly after her death, but remained on the farm until moving into Kiron in 1999. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a lifetime love of working with and riding horses. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and served on the Bethel Lutheran Cemetery board for many years. Those remaining to cherish his memory include three children, Mervin Buller and his wife, Margaret Ann of Odebolt, Iowa, Judy Miille of Newcastle, Neb., and Jerry Buller and his wife, Ardyth of Kiron; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Dawn and Dean Roeder and their children, Steven, Stephanie and Jennifer of Arthur, Iowa, Bradley Buller and his daughter, Kali Babcock of Odebolt, Wendy and Bob Lorenzen and their children, Sara and Scott of Galva, Iowa, Laura Miille of Sioux Falls, S.D., Clint Miille of Newcastle, Heidi Buller of Phoenix, Ariz., and Nicholas Buller and his fiancee, Joanie Lally of Nevada, Iowa; a sister, Ruby Purdy of Kiron; two sisters-in-law, Golden Nelson of Kiron and Velva Danielson of Jefferson, Iowa; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Maurice Miille.
