Description	:	(KS) Belleville Telescope Aug. 21, 1952 Mrs. George Thomas Seluda May, daughter of William and Emily May, was born December 10, 1875, at Langdon, Mo., and passed away August 13, 1952, at the Concordia hospital at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 3 days. At the age of five she moved with her parents to a farm near Mahaska, Kan., and resided there until her marriage to George W. Thomas of Narka on January 1, 1896. To this union seven children were born, two girls and five boys. A son Lloyd passed away in infancy. At the age of five she moved with her parents to a farm near Mahaska, Kan., and resided there until her marriage to George W. Thomas of Narka on January 1, 1896. To this union seven children were born, two girls and five boys. A son Lloyd passed away in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas made their home in Narka and surrounding vicinity until 1919 when they moved to a farm north of Randall. In 1931 they moved to a small farm near Glen Elder where her husband died in 1941. In 1943, Mrs. Thomas came back to Randall to be near her children, and in January, 1952, she went to the home of her daughter, Elsie, at Salina. She had been in failing health the past two years but had taken great interest in the Methodist church of which she was a member since early childhood. Mrs. Thomas was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Surviving are six children, Mrs. Ida Canfield of Sheridan, Wyo., Mrs. Elsie Saip of Salina, Everett of Randall, Alvin J. of Atchison, Manford of Rifle, Colo., and Lester of Richmond, Cal.; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Amos May of Topeka, nephews nieces and a host of friends. Funeral services were held August 16 at Randall Methodist church with the Rev. H. C. Lambert officiating. Interment was in Ida cemetery with the Rev. James Gray in charge.
