Description	:	Sharon "Shari" Mau, 75, Tolley, ND, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in a Minot hospital Sharon "Shari" Marie Briggs was born on January 28, 1947 in Kenmare, ND the daughter of Holger and Elaine (Strand) Briggs. She was raised and educated in Bowbells through the 3rd grade, when the family moved to Crosby, ND. She attended Crosby Public School through the 8th grade. Read More	Sharon "Shari" Mau, 75, Tolley, ND, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in a Minot hospital Sharon "Shari" Marie Briggs was born on January 28, 1947 in Kenmare, ND the daughter of Holger and Elaine (Strand) Briggs. She was raised and educated in Bowbells through the 3rd grade, when the family moved to Crosby, ND. She attended Crosby Public School through the 8th grade. They moved to Vancouver, WA until February of her sophomore year when they returned to ND where she graduated from Kenmare High School in 1965. Following her graduation, Shari moved to Minneapolis, MN for a time, returning to Kenmare, where she worked at Red Owl. On December 30, 1967, Shari was united in marriage to Ernest "Ernie" Mau. They made their home on the Mau Ranch, where together they raised their three children Tim, Tom, and Tonya. Along with being a homemaker, she worked side by side with Ernie for 53 years, until his death on October 9, 2021. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and had a heart of gold. She was a remarkable mother to her three children of her own as well as every friend of theirs. She welcomed strays to every holiday meal. Shari spent many hours videoing and traveling to rodeos. She loved to cook, sew, craft, and draw in her free time. Her eyes gleamed with pride any time her grandchildren walked through the door! Shari was known for her desserts, lunches and hospitality. She served on the Tolley PTO, NDEG secretary, volunteered for many organizations making numerous cakes, bars and cookies for fund raisers or sporting events. Shari is survived by her children, Tim (Lori Duvall), Tom (Mechell Holien), and Tonya (Bryan) Kellenberger; grandchildren, Tayler and Caden Mau, Tayten Reid and Harley Mau, and Jentz and Ryal Kellenberger; brother, Bob (Diann) Briggs and their daughters Dawn (Jade) Bergeron and Brenda(Patrick) Sommer; special cousins, Keith Hanson and Wanda Lorea; sister-in-law Thelma Zietz, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended relations. She was preceded in death by her parents, Holger and Elaine Briggs and her husband, Ernest "Ernie" Mau. Visitation: Monday, February 14, 2022 from 4 pm until 6pm at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Kenmare. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Kenmare. A luncheon will follow the Funeral Mass at the Tolley Fire Hall. Burial: will take place in the spring of 2022 at the St. Charles Cemetery in Tolley, ND Minot Daily News, Minot, ND Feb. 14, 2022
