She was born in Hamilton on June 29, 1936 the daughter of Fred and Flora (Cox) Adams. Read More	Shirley Ann Durbin, age 70 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 5:45 AM. She was born in Hamilton on June 29, 1936 the daughter of Fred and Flora (Cox) Adams. Shirley was employed as a supervisor at GE for over 25 years, and was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. On May 15, 1957 in Hamilton she married Merle Durbin. She is survived by her husband, Merle Durbin of West Harrison, Indiana; two sons, Tim Durbin and Eric (Cathy) Durbin; a daughter, Karen (Dave) Chaney, all of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, James (Erin) Durbin, David Durbin, Matt Durbin, Randy Durbin, Nicole Durbin, David Chaney, and Leah Chaney; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred Adams, and two sisters, Eileen Lawhorn and Bobbie Gray. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Michael Hay of Queen of Peace Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
