The Nelson Funeral Home of Maddock was in charge of arrangements. Shirley Ann Jones was born April 12, 1939 on the family farm in Aurora Township near Minnewaukan to Elmer F. & Betsy Sogge Jones. She was raised & attended school in Aurora Township & graduated from BCATS at Maddock in 1957. On March 25, 1957 she married Wayne C. Rolle at Ada, Minn. The couple lived in Brinsmade & Leeds areas until moving to Maddock in 1972. She worked at Summers Manufacturing in Maddock from Jan. 5, 1976 until her retirement on Sept. 30, 1993. She was a member of Flora Lutheran Church until it closed. She enjoyed gardening & raising flowers. Survivors include her husband of Maddock; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Sharon & Robert Ebach & Peggy & Michael Bingham of Minnewaukan & Wynell & Emil Kraft of Maddock; 4 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Wayne Jr. & Jodi Rolle of Sawyer, Gregory Rolle Sr. of Minnewaukan, John & Kim Rolle of Sioux Falls, S.D. & David Rolle of Fort Worth, Tex.; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Jerry Fillner of Madison, Wisc.; 2 brothers, Freeman Jones of Flora & Elmer Jones of Maddock; 3 brothers-in-law, Palmer Odden of Maddock, Lars Swenson of Devils Lake & Norlin Solberg of Harvey; & 2 sisters-in-law, Evelyn Jones of Devils Lake & Marion Jones of Maddock. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Francis, Russell, Dalen & Lennis Jones; & 3 sisters, Fern Odden, Eunice Swenson & Carol Solberg.
