Description	:	Shirley June Simpson, 82 of Rector passed from this life on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the Piggott Community Hospital. She was born to the late Coley and Margie (Sinko) Livesay on April 9, 1933 in the Hargrave’s Corner community. She was united in marriage to Velius Simpson on March 9, 1952 in Hargrave’s Corner. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed crafts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one infant sister. She was born to the late Coley and Margie (Sinko) Livesay on April 9, 1933 in the Hargrave’s Corner community. She was united in marriage to Velius Simpson on March 9, 1952 in Hargrave’s Corner. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed crafts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one infant sister. She is survived by her loving husband: Velius Simpson of Rector; two sons and daughter-in- laws: David and Tina Simpson of Springbranch, Texas, Richard and Lisa Simpson of Rector; one sister: Joan Garrett of Lakeland, Florida; five grandchildren: Samuel Simpson of Austin, Texas, Jonathan and Marita Kilbreth of Campbell, Missouri, Joshua and Rhonda McKinley of Paragould, Jacob Simpson of Corning, Bridget Kilbreth of Mayfield, Kentucky; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; along with a host of other special relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 11, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Funeral Services will be on Monday October 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel in Rector with Bro. George Bearden officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
