Description	:	WINDSOR - Shirley L. Stevens, 76, of Windsor, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, with her loving family by her side at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Shirley was born on May 29, 1934, in Jefferson to Raymond and Olive (Mosher) Whittier. She grew up in Jefferson and lived in the South China area most of her adult life. She graduated from Erskine Academy in 1951. She married Milton (Skeet) Stevens in 1952, and retired from state employment in 1996. Shirley was born on May 29, 1934, in Jefferson to Raymond and Olive (Mosher) Whittier. She grew up in Jefferson and lived in the South China area most of her adult life. She graduated from Erskine Academy in 1951. She married Milton (Skeet) Stevens in 1952, and retired from state employment in 1996. She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; her precious little girl, Lori; a grandson Tyler; and a special brother-in-law, Ben Pushard. Shirley's survivors include a devoted partner, David Smith of Windsor; sons Steve and his girlfriend, Charleen, of Bowdoinham, Scott and his wife, Barbara, of Lisbon Falls, and Lari of Augusta; a daughter, Shelley Morris, and her husband, George, of Augusta; two sisters, Maxine Pushard of Chelsea and Sharon Dyer of Jefferson; grandchildren Kirby Morris of St. Louis, Katy Morris of Augusta and Greer Libby of Windsor; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Windsor. (Morning Sentinel 11/20/2010)
