Description	:	Sidney 0. Landon Jr. Sidney 0. Landon Jr., 81, of Crisfield, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield. Born in Crisfield, he was a son of the late Sidney 0. and Melissa Ward Landon. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the European Theater of Operations. Read More	Sidney 0. Landon Jr. Sidney 0. Landon Jr., 81, of Crisfield, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield. Born in Crisfield, he was a son of the late Sidney 0. and Melissa Ward Landon. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the European Theater of Operations. He worked 35 years for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier at the Crisfield Post Office. Following his retirement from the U. S. Postal Service, he worked with the Somerset County Dispensary Board. He was a member of the Crisfield Lodge #1044 Elks, the Stanley Cochrane Post #16 American Legion, the Somerset Memorial Post #8274 VFW and he attended Mt. Pleasant U. M. Church in Crisfield. He was also a pitcher for the Semi-Pro Marva and Central Shore Leagues for Crisfield in the late 40's and early 50's. He is survived by two sons, Darrell S. Landon of Washington, D.C. and Raymond W. Landon of Crisfield; two daughters, Carla J. Carter of Ocean City and Teresa A. Landon of Princess Anne; one sister, Edna Mae Dorsey of Crisfield; four grandchildren, Kristen Bradshaw, Katie Landon, Suzanne Landon and Stephanie Landon; and one nephew, Tommy Landon of Crisfield. His brother, Thomas 0. Landon, died Dec. 24, 1999. A funeral service was held Thursday at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
