Mrs. Verlyn Fry, Roy Bergquist, Miss Pearl Swedlund and A.J. Swedlund sang: "Does Jesus Care?", "The Unclouded Day," and "There is a Home Eternal." At the close of the services the remains were laid to rest in the South Marion Cemetery. The pallbearers were Roy Bjustrom of Algona, Clifton Bjustrom of Des Moines, Fred Patterson, Budd Patterson, Victor Holstrom, W.R. Holstrum. Sigrid Josephine Anderson, the daughter of August and Anna (Johnson) Anderson, was born at Boone Nov. 27, 1900, and died in the county hospital in Webster City, Dec. 29, 1943, being 43 years, 1 month, 2 days old. She had been in poor health for some years and had spent considerable time in the southwest in an effort to recover her health. Her condition improved but recently had again become serious. During her early childhood she lived on a Boone County farm but when nine years old moved with her parents to a farm south of Stratford where she attended the rural schools and grew to young womanhood. She was married to Bennie S. Bjustrom on March 10, 1920 and they went to housekeeping on the farm southeast of Stratford where they had since lived. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Glenn and Godfrey, her father, August Anderson, one sister, Mrs. W.S. Isaacson, of Boone, and a brother, Carl Anderson, of Stratford. She was preceded in death by her mother, who died in 1920. She was baptized in the Christian faith and was a member of the South Marion Methodist Church.
