Description	:	Obituary Marshall (MI) Evening Chronicle Tuesday, February 26, 1963 Homer News St. Elmo Rising, 85 Dies In Coldwater Hospital ---St. Elmo Rising, 85, resident of the Homer area most of his life, died Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Community Health Center in Coldwater. ---He was born Dec. 27, 1877 in David City, Nebr., the son of George and Jennie (Cortright) Rising. On Dec. 27, 1906, he married Ida Trexel in Needles, Calif. She died two and one-helf[sic] years later. On June 1918 he married Edyth Thomas in Wolverine, Mich.
