Norman Armstrong officiated and music was by Mrs. Wm. Sander, with Mrs. W. M. Baxter the accompanist. Among those attending funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Caldwell of San Jose, Cal., Maurice Fahnholz of Citrus Heights, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fahnholz and two daughters of Norco, Calif., Mrs. Pearl Kerran of San Francisco, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fahnholz of Culbertson, the Donald Mulford family of Garnett, Kans., and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cantin of Colorado Springs, Colo. Stella M. Harshfield passed away Friday afternoon at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 73. She was born in Westphalia, Kans., and moved as a child with her parents to the vicinity of Arapahoe. She was married in 1909 to Edward W. Fahnholz, who preceded her in death in 1935. To this union were born six children, two of whom also preceded her in death. In 1944, she was married to Charles V. Harshfield of Arapahoe who preceded her in death in 1948. For the past five years she has been a resident of the Mues Rest Home in Arapahoe. She leaves to mourn her loss, three sons, Walter Fahnholz of Culbertson, Nebr.; Maurice Fahnholz of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Arthur Fahnholz of Norco, Calif., and one daughter, Pearl Kerran of San Francisco, Calif.; her brother; Dale Caldwell of San Jose, Calif.; three step-daughters, Veryl Inman of Mirror Lake, Wash.; Fern Weiss of McCook, Nebr., and Wilma Fahnholz of Citrus Heights, Calif.
