STEPHEN ROGER FELTHAUSER Stephen Roger Felthauser, age 90 years, 5 months and 18 days, of Nebraska City, Nebraska passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the St. Mary's Community Hospital in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Stephen was born on April 17, 1924, in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Fredrick William and Hazel (Stephens) Felthauser. After graduating from the Nebraska City High School in 1942, Stephen was drafted into the Army and served during WWII (717 TK BN SGT). When Stephen returned home, he went to work for Peter Kiewit and retired as the supervisor of bridge and highway construction. He was a member of the American Legion Post. Stephen was preceded by his parents; a sister, Phyllis May Baggett on September 16, 1996; and two brothers: Edward John on October 5, 1938 and Vernon Felthauser on December 11, 1989. Survivors of Stephen include his brothers: Harry Felthauser and his wife Donna of Los Alamos, New Mexico, and Lloyd Felthauser and wife Lou of Omaha, Nebraska; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. There will be no viewing, visitation or services for Stephen Roger Felthauser. A private inurnment of Stephen's ashes will be held at a later date at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the choice of the family. Service is entrusted to Peterson Mortuary at 111 North 11th Street in Nebraska City, Nebraska, 68410.
