Mr Felthauser died Friday evening at Veterans hospital in Omaha from a blood clot in his lung. He had been ill for six months. Frederick W. Felthauser was born September 3, 1895, the son of Frederick V. and Loretta Felthauser of Nebraska City. He married Hazel Stephens, who survives. Mr Felthauser served in the 355th Regiment in World War I and was a retired employee of U.S. Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He was affiliated with the Christian church. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs Phyllis M. Baggett, New Orleans, La.; sons, Stephen R., Nebraska City; Vernon C., Papillion; Lloyd, Millard; Harry, Los Alamos, N.M.; sister, Hazel Hill, North Highlands, Calif.; brother, Ray of Lincoln; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Edward, 5; and brothers, Glen, Olin and Gerald. …
