Felthauser died Dec. 11, 1989, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. He was born Nov. 14, 1925, at Norfolk, the son of Frederick William and Hazel (Stephens) Felthauser. He and Sara Golden were married Oct. 20, 1951, in Omaha. He served in the Navy as seaman first, from Jan. 5, 1944, to April 24, 1946, in World War II. He was retired diesel mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion of Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Felthauser were graduates of the Nebraska City High school and lived in the area until 1959 when they moved to Papillion for 20 years, then to Salt Lake City and then returned to Omaha. Survivors include his wife, Sara Felthauser, Omaha; daughters, Jayne Felthauser and Pamela Felthauser, both of Omaha, and Mrs. David (Lynda) Fisher, Virginia Beach, Va.; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Baggett, Slidell, La.; brothers, Steve Felthauser of Nebraska City; Lloyd and Lou Felthauser of Omaha and Harry and Dona Felthauser, Los Alamos, N.M.; and mother-in-law, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Golden, Nebraska City. Felthauser was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward Felthauser. Pallbearers will be Lee Benck, Chad Felthauser, Mike Felthauser, Bob O'Neal, Mike O'Neal and Kevin Stille. Special military rites will be by the American Legion Color Guard Post No. 8. Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Association Fund. Peterson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. ...
