Description	:	Miss Sue Erb, Longtime Local Teacher, Called. Miss Sue Erb, a life-long resident of Muscatine, died at her home, 209 East Fourth street, at 6:10 p.m. Thursday after an extended illness. She had taught school for 47 years, the past 44 years in the city schools of Muscatine. Miss Erb was prominent in club and church work all her life, being a member of the First Congregational church, Chapter FC of the P.E.O. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Erb Beatty and Miss Myra Erb, both at home, and three brothers, Dr. B. F. Erb of Anamosa, E. A. Erb, of Burlington, and H.F. Erb, of San Diego, Calif., beside the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. Rollin Thomas of LaFayette, Ind., Mrs. W. S. Frazier of Anamosa, Laurence W. Erb, of Whittier, Calif., and D. C. Erb, of Visalia, Calif. Her parents, Jacob and Susan Funk Erb, preceded her in death. The body will be removed from the Fairbanks Home for Funerals to the family residence at noon today. Rites will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Fairbanks chapel, with the Rev. W. B. Milne, pastor of the First Congregational church, officiating. Burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.
