MRS. EDWIN AVERY Mrs. Edwin Avery died at her home in Sabetha Tuesday of last week after a long illness with cancer of the stomach. Susan Margaret Baldwin was born in Missouri, April 1820 and soon afterward removed with her parents to Iowa. She was married first to Isaac Ashton, who died. To their union were born five children who were in attendance at her last illness, together with her second husband Edwin Avery to whom she was married several years ago. Funeral services were held at the United Brethren church at 2 o'clock Thursday, November 11, conducted by Rev. T. B. Steward. The remains were laid to rest in the Sabetha cemetery by the side of her first husband.
