Susannah's parents had moved to Harrison County, Ohio by 1835 and on to Defiance County, Ohio by the year 1850. Susannah married Absalom Browning, the son of Samuel and Margaret (Markee) Browning, on 20 Aug 1848 in Tuscarawas County OH. They had one daughter, Sarah Margaret.
