Her portrait is at Arbor Lodge with six other real daughters of the soldiers of the Revolution. Mrs. Margaret Barnes of Los Angeles, Calif. was a guest. From an article in the Blue Valley Blade, Seward, NE, Wed, October 10, 1928 D.A.R. Mrs. Ida Potter entertained the Margaret Holmes chapter of the D.A.R. Tuesday at a 1 o'clock luncheon. This was the first meeting of the year and the program was in memory of first president-general of the national D.A.R., Caroline Scott Harrison. Mrs. Myrtle Anderson had charge of the program. A picture was shown of Mrs. Susannah Slonecker, who was one of the seven real Daughters of the American Revolution, and this picture is to hang in the D.A.R. room at Arbor Lodge. Susannah Slonecker is the grandmother of several of the membes of this chapter, and her grave in Seward was marked with a bronze tablet by the Seward chapter several years ago. There were several guests present, Mrs. Margaret Barnes of Los Angeles being an out-of-town guest. The chapter officers are as follows: Regent, Mrs. C. K. Porter; vice regent, Mrs. T. C.
