Thelma was a secretary at the North Manchester Foundry from 1968-1976, and was a member of the Manchester Church of the Brethren. She was also active for many years in the Tribal Trails Girl Scout Council. She was a lifetime resident of Wabash County, and a 1938 graduate of Wabash High School. Thelma is survived by daughters Ginny Brubaker of North Manchester and Lisa Sites of South Charleston, OH; a sister, Wilma Howell of Wabash, and a brother, John Forbes of Lima, OH; also five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Funeral service was held Tuesday, March 4, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, and burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements were by Bender Chapel Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service.
