Mrs. Olerich had been critically ill since last Wednesday when she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, having remained in a coma from that time until her death. She had been in ill health for the last year and a half. The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home, awaiting the completion of funeral arrangements. Read More	Feb 22, 1941 - Carroll Daily - Mrs. Otto Olerich died at her home, 112 East Seventh Street, at 8:20 this morning. She would have been fifty years old on March 3. Mrs. Olerich had been critically ill since last Wednesday when she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, having remained in a coma from that time until her death. She had been in ill health for the last year and a half. The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home, awaiting the completion of funeral arrangements. Mrs. Olerich, a lifelong resident of Carroll county, was born Theresa Mary Klocke, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klocke, March 2, 1891. Her parents were well known pioneers here. She received her education at St. Mary's parochial school at Willey, and remained at home with her parents on their farm southeast of Carroll until the time of her marriage, May 27, 1913, she became the bride of Otto Olerich of Carroll, the ceremony taking place at St. Joseph's rectory here. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Olerich located on a farm eight miles north and one mile west of Carroll, living there until 1914, when they came into town. After residing on East Sixth Street, they moved into their present home, which they have occupied since 1926. Survivors include her husband and four children: Frank C. of Persia, Iowa; Clifford W. of Pontiac, Mich.; Hilda L, of Des Moines; and Vera C, at home. All of her children were with her at the time of her death with the exception of Clifford W., who will be here shortly. Also surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Frank Venteicher (Lizie), Mrs. William Schutze (Ann), Mrs. Lena Hanssen, Mrs. Charles Pauly (Jennie), Mrs. Paul Sievers (Frances), Mrs. Elmer Throop (Rose), Henry Klocke and John Klocke, all of Carroll. Mrs. Olerich was preceded in death by one son, Wilbur Jr who died June 9, 1919, and three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Ayres, Mrs. Jos Pietig, and Mrs. Fred Pietig.
