Death Came to Mrs. Frank Litty, Sr., Thursday Morning, Nov. 24. Mrs. Frank Litty, Sr., in failing health since April 21, 1927, when she was first stricken with paralysis, passed away at her home in North David City at 10:15 o'clock Tursday morning, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving day. Her last illness was of a week's duration. She was aged 67 years and 10 days. Theresa Mary Graf was Mrs. Litty's maiden name. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., November 14, 1860. When she was a year old her parents moved to Iowa City, Iowa, and there she grew to young womanhood. She came to Nebraska at the age of 19 years and on February 3, 1880, she was united in marriage to Frank X. Litty at Falls City. Two years after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Litty moved to a farm in Butler county. They moved to David City in the spring of 1912 and Mr. Litty died on September 27 of that year. Thirteen children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Litty, two of them dying in infancy. The surviving children, five sons and six daughters, are John Litty of Seward, Mrs. Frank Griffin, of David City, Ed Litty of Sterling, Colo., Mrs. Mike Danaher of David City, Leo Litty of Callaway, Mrs. Frank Richter of Kearney, Ernest Litty of Brainard, Mrs. A. J. Vanous of Burbank, Calif., and Mrs. Joseph Kucera, George Litty and Mrs. Henry Vandenburg of David City. Mrs. Litty also leaves 49 grandchildren, a foster daughter, Anne Litty, and two brothers and five sisters, namely, Frank Graf of Orleans, Will Graf, Sr., Mrs. A. H. Peters, Mrs. Joseph Varin and Mrs. Katie Knott of David City, Mrs. Theodore Rutten of Kearney and Mrs. Alois Rubenthaler of Gothenburg. Mrs. Litty was a kindly woman, devoted to her children, and was ever ready to help them in need. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Altar society and of the Royal Neighbors of America lodge. Funeral services were held at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning, Nov. 26, in St. Mary's Catholic church, David City, conducted by Rev. Patrick O'Leary and Rev. Bernard Sproll. Singing was by St. Mary's choir. Six nephews of Mrs. Litty, Leo Graf, Theodore and John Knott, Clarence and John Peters and Alphonse Varin, were pallbearers. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, David City. All of Mrs. Litty's children, except Mrs. Vanous, were present at the funeral. Other relatives in attendance from elsewhere were Frank Graf of Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Rutten and Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Richter of Kearney, Mrs. Alois Rubenthaler of Gothenburg, Mr. and Mrs. John Kucera of Nickerson, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Knott of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. John Bernero and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lahle of Lincoln, J. F. English and two daughters of Humphrey and Mr. and Mrs. Will Krausnick, Mrs. August P. Fritz, Mrs. F. P. Pritchard, Mrs. Jacob Vandenburg, Mrs. E. J.
