Coulbourne, well-known and respected resident of the Calvary section, died at his home there Saturday night at the age of 70 years. Read More	WELL KNOWN MAN BURIED WEDNESDAY Thomas A. Coulbourne Died Saturday Night Mr. Thomas A. Coulbourne, well-known and respected resident of the Calvary section, died at his home there Saturday night at the age of 70 years. He had been in ill health for about 16 years, but had always been cheerful and uncomplaining. Born in Crisfield, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Tawes Coulbourne. For a number of years before his death, he was an employee of the Standard Oil Company local representatives here, and was widely known for his courtesy and efficiency. Tom Coulbourne was a good and conscientious citizen. He was energetic and honest, with a big heart, and before his health failed, nothing he would not do to help his fellow man. Friendly and smiling, he was held in deep affection by the many people who knew him and dealt with him. The deep devotion of his wife and children attested to his fine qualities as a husband and father, and there is general sorrow at his passing. He reposed at his home until Wednesday and scores of neighbors awl friends called at the home to pay their respects. Funeral services were held in Asbury Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Robert Green. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. He had been a member of Asbury Church for years, and also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, members of which, from Salisbury, attended the funeral in a body. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dollie O. Coulbourne, one daughter, Mrs. Lemuel Ward, one son, Thomas Coulbourne, both of Crisfield, a granddaughter, Mrs. Ida Linton, and two great-grandsons, Thomas Linton and Wardie Linton, all of Crisfield, one sister, Mrs. Mary Christy of Baltimore, and one brother, George Coulbourne of Baltimore.
