Read More	Thomas Burton Henry was born in Washington County, Kansas, January 31, 1873, and departed this life at Newman Memorial Hospital, Emporia, Kansas, January 25, 1930. His boyhood was spent in Washington and Nemaha counties and when a young man he removed with the family to Wabaunsee County where they resided until 1903. Since then his home has been Greenwood County. For many years he has been a sufferer from ill health which he has borne with courage and fortitude. Because of his own suffering he learned to appreciate the afflictions of others and was kindly and sympathetic. He was a firm believer in God confessing his faith in his power and ultimate justice. He leaves his aged mother, Mrs. Belle Henry of Severy, two sisters, Miss Stella Henry of Chanute and Mrs. Maybelle Needles of Emporia, one brother, C.N. Henry of Sugar City, Colorado, and many other relatives and friends. His father, one brother and five sisters have preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Otis Bussart in Greenwood Abbey and interment was made at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, Kansas, Tuesday, January 28th.
