CARROLL TIMES - Thursday, May 31th, 1923 - Funeral services for Thomas Dinan, brother of John Dinan, of this city, were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Catholic church in Scranton. Burial was made in Willow Creek cemetery south of Scranton. Thomas Dinan was born in New Haven, Conn., December 4, 1864, and at the time of his death was farming the old Dinan homestead. Burial was made in Willow Creek cemetery south of Scranton. Thomas Dinan was born in New Haven, Conn., December 4, 1864, and at the time of his death was farming the old Dinan homestead. He had one of the well improved farms of the vicinity. Mr. Dinan had been in Ralston the night before he was stricken with paralysis and when returning home had stopped at the home of one of his neighbors. He apparently was in the best of health. The following morning at 10 o'clock the neighbor called at his home and found him lying unconscious on the kitchen floor. He had suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Dinan was brought to the Carroll hospital Sunday but died without regaining consciousness. He is survived by two brothers, Albert Dinan, of Los Angeles, Calif, and John Dinan, of this city.
