He was in the auto salvage business there for many years, a well known business man, active in civic affairs and a member of the Modern Woodmen of America lodge. He is survived by his wife, Carrie, of the home; four sons, Gilbert and G. B., of Macon, and Kenneth and Charles, of Clarence; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Pridemore, of Clarence, and Mrs. Thelma Eldringhoff, of Kansas City; and two sisters, Mrs. Perle Miller, of Macon, and Mrs. Mary K. Powell, of Kansas City. The body will be in state at the Funeral Home until the hour of services.
