Description	:	Memorial services for Thomas Marion "Ted" Howell, 79, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Alford-Clarke Post 852 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lawrence. Cremation is planned. Mr. Howell died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born June 17, 1930, in Glena, the son of Charles T. and Audrey Fry Howell. He moved to Lawrence when he was a child and graduated from Lawrence Memorial High School. Mr. Howell served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
