Obituary Thomas Victor Murphy, 81, a resident of 2211 Howard in Omaha, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, at St Joseph's Hospital there. The son of Michael and Anna Gertrude Conroy Murphy, he was born Sept, 16, 1911 north of Marne. He worked construction around the country and had been employed by Eblen Construction. He lived in Omaha the last 40 years and was employed as a custodian at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Omaha. He is survived by a brother, Bernard E. Murphy and wife Elsie of Atlantic; a sister, Evelyn Murphy of Des Moines; and a number of niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mildred Baxter and Veronica Graham. Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m., Monday Sept. 28, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church here, with Rev. Michael M. Peters celebrant. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Walnut.
