Description	:	Short version Funeral services for Titus Hale were held Wednesday. Mr. Hale died Sunday at St. Anthony's hospital in Wenatchee. He was born March 1, 1878, at Princeton, New Jersey, at his parent's home which was located on the site of the battle of Princeton, fought during the Revolution. The house was an historical landmark, being the haven to which General Mercer was taken when critically wounded on the battlefield. Read More	Short version Funeral services for Titus Hale were held Wednesday. Mr. Hale died Sunday at St. Anthony's hospital in Wenatchee. He was born March 1, 1878, at Princeton, New Jersey, at his parent's home which was located on the site of the battle of Princeton, fought during the Revolution. The house was an historical landmark, being the haven to which General Mercer was taken when critically wounded on the battlefield. He came to Washington in 1905 and to Chelan in the fall of the same year. He was married to Mary Georgiana Murdock of Waterville, June 16, 1909. To this union six children were born, all of whom survive. After his marriage he lived for two years at his boyhood home at Princeton, but returned to his ranch on Lake Chelan. Surviving are his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson of Wenatchee and Mrs. Caroline Luft; four sons, the Rev. T. Murdock and Roger of Rolling Bay, David H. of Fort Lewis and Marion D. of Eugene, Oregon; three grandsons; one brother, Dr. Henry E. Hale II at Princeton, New Jersey.
