| Description | : | Tom De Koster was born in Oosterwyk, Netherlands, April 28, 1878, the son of Lucas De Koster and Neeltje Verduin. At the age of 8 he emigrated to the United States with his father, sisters and brothers. They came directly to Sioux County where he lived the rest of his life in and near Hull. On March 31, 1909, he was married to Johanna Van Wyk.
