| Description | : | Shenandoah, Iowa, Friday World, 30 June 1899. "IMOGENE – Mr. T. Palmer, who lived east of here, died Saturday evening, and was buried here Monday. He was 76 years old." Mary Palmer – Book 9 of the Page County Register of Deaths lists Mary Palmer as buried "from Pierce Twp. to Imogene." I was unable to find an obituary. The tombstone of her husband, Trajan Palmer, is clearly marked on the top "Father and Mother." It is therefore deduced that she is buried next to her husband in the Monroe Township Cemetery.
