Uriah and Barsheba lived in Fremont for many years, so it's a good probability it is him. ================ On 5 June 1880 Uriah Glover (59), wife Barsheba (51), children; George W. (25), James A. (21), Henry E. (17) and servant, Catharine Shope (16) lived in Fremont Township, Lyon County, Kansas. Uriah was a farmer. ================ The Emporia Weekly News Friday, 04 February 1881 Uriah Glover, an old and respected citizen of Fremont Township, died Friday morning, January 28th, of pleura-pneumonia. Mr. Glover came to Lyon county in 1857, and settled on Allen creek, and lived in the same neighborhood till his death. He leaves a wife and five children, three of whom are married. Mr. Glover was in Emporia Saturday, the 22nd, feeling well, but took sick after reaching home, and never recovered. The funeral took place at the farm Sunday morning at eleven o'clock.
