Description	:	Vera Rayburn, 98, died January 21, 2012 at Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home in Viborg. Services will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Viborg. Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 pm with family present from 7 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Vera was born March 26, 1913 to Ludvig and Agnes (Jensen) Andersen. She married Boyd Christensen in 1935. She moved to Viborg in 1994. Vera loved flowers, especially roses and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and visiting with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 4 brothers Ejner, Ejlert, Arne and Leo Andersen and 2 sisters Herdis Almond and an infant sister Astrid. Vera is survived by 3 sons Skip (Jean) Christensen of Humboldt, IA, Jeb (Judy) Christensen of Yankton and Keith Christensen of Viborg; 1 daughter Bonnie Price of Viborg; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchilren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Helga Eichel of Sioux Falls and Dotty (Duane) Larsen of Viborg; 2 sister-in-laws Betty Andersen and Doreen Andersen; a brother-in-law Berven (Gerry) Christensen; and many other relatives and friends.
