Description	:	Services Held For Mrs. Elizabeth Decker Verna Elizabeth Walton, daughter of James and Martha Walton, was born at Hindly, Nebraska June 29, 1884 and passed away July 25, 1953 at the age of 69 years and 25 days. At the age of 7, she moved with her parents to Clinton, Missouri where they resided for the next 10 years. In 1910 the family moved to Traer, Kansas. On December 28, 1905, she was united in marriage to Ira Decker at Oberlin, Kansas. To this union five children were born, four sons and one daughter.... Read More	Services Held For Mrs. Elizabeth Decker Verna Elizabeth Walton, daughter of James and Martha Walton, was born at Hindly, Nebraska June 29, 1884 and passed away July 25, 1953 at the age of 69 years and 25 days. She was preceded in death by her husband January 1, 1944 and two sons Maurice on June 9, 1919 and James on October 10, 1952. Mrs. Decker united with the Methodist Church when a young women (sic). In 1922 the family moved to Wauneta. She leaves to mourn her departure one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Crandall of Pacoima, Calif; and two sons Murlin of Pacoima, Calif. and Charles of Wauneta; five grandchildren, Kay and Phyllis Crandall and Janet, Jimmy and Peggy Decker; two brothers Fred and Oscar Walton of Denver, Colo. Her father and mother and two sisters Mrs. Orph Innman and Mrs. Iva Pearson and three brothers Clarence, Edwin and Charley Walton preceded her in death. Mrs. Decker was of a kind and loving disposition, a devoted wife and mother, taking her joy and pleasure in her family, her home and her church. Name and date of paper unknown. From Linda Ueland.
