A native of Kelton, he was a son of the late Ottice and Mittie Horne. He was a veteran of the Army and a member of Fairforest Baptist Church, where he served on the Building and Grounds Committee and the Cemetery Committee. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairforest Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Aulbrey Calvert and Randy Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. The family is at the home.
