Born June 23, 1906, in Lima, he was the son of the late Eugene G. and Hazel Brown Christen. His wife, the former Mary Lehner, survives. He retired as manager of Thomson and McKinnon Auchincloss Kohlmeyer, Inc., after 47 years, was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Loyalty Council of Knights of Columbus No. 2661 and Holy Name Society of the church. Good of 768 Lewis Blvd., Mrs. Eleanor Nijssen of Strongsville, Mrs. Charlotte Jean Trentman of Shelby and Mrs. Bernadette (Bonnie) Smith of Battle Creek, Mich.; three brothers, James B. of 608 Meadowbrook Drive, Robert O. of Delphos and William G. of 656 Hazel; and nine grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church, with burial in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp-Murphy Funeral Home where a vigil service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.
