"Volla," as she was familiarly known to her relatives and friends, came to Havelock with her father and sister in 1882, where she resided until her death. She was united in marriage to Arthur F. "Volla," as she was familiarly known to her relatives and friends, came to Havelock with her father and sister in 1882, where she resided until her death. She was united in marriage to Arthur F. Clarke, in November,1890, who preceded her to the other world June 23,1911. There were born to this union three daughters, Maude D., now Mrs. Wm. Obrecht, Elta Beth and Mary Joyce, who with her sister, father and stepmother and many other relatives and friends, mourn her death. She united with the M. E. church at Havelock, in 1889 and lived an earnest, consistent Christian to the end of her life. "Blessed are they who die in the Lord." We desire through this medium to express our heartfelt thanks to neighbors and friends for their expressions of sympathy and acts of kindness and for the beautiful floral gifts in this hour of bereavement in the loss of our beloved mother, sister and daughter. Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Walrod, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gustlin of Callendar; Mrs. C. A. Gill, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Lighter of Rolfe; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Harris and children of Truesdale; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gill and Miss Maude, of Terrill; Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Clarke of Garwin; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Golly of Zearing; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Jensen of Story City; Mr. and Mrs. C. R.
