Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kermit Bishop, and her son, Quentin Bishop. Mrs. Bishop was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and a long-time member of the Cypress Missionary Baptist Church. She will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors are her beloved children, Jerry Bishop and his wife Jennifer, Larry Bishop, Cursie Bishop and his wife Lyn, June Bates, Mae Work and her husband Jay, and daughter-in-law, Yvonne Bishop; 13 cherished grandchildren; and 12 precious great-grandchildren.
