A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late James Virgil Lambert McCraw and Mary Elizabeth Swofford McCraw. She was a member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church and a housewife. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fannie Mae Silva and Mrs. Joe Ellen Fowler, both of Gaffney; three sons, Rev. Peter Wildon Morgan and Aaron Morgan, both of Gaffney and Lowell Leslie Morgan of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen McCraw Sutton of Gaffney; two brothers, Lamar McCraw of Gaffney and Leslie G. McCraw of Sandy Springs, S.C.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Grassy Pond Bapist Church, conducted by the Revs. Tom Turner and Warren Fowler. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alton McCraw, Morgan McCraw, Jr., Barry Morgan, Daryl Hughey, Michael McCraw, Johnny Humphries, Jack McCraw and Larry McCraw. Honoraries will be the Nelson Boeheler Sunday School class and the staff and management of Brookview House. The family is at the residence of Fannie Mae Silva on Pleasant School Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grassy Pond Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society or the Heart Association.
