He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Herman, and Cornelius; two sisters, Coletta and Armella; and two grandchildren, one of which is, Matthew Fink. A member of St. Bernards Catholic Church in Burkettsville, he also attended the men's society of the parish, Coldwater Eagles and Fort Recovery American Legion post 345. He was a World War II Army veteran. A farmer, he retired from the Union City Body Shop in Union City, Ind. Services at the church, the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating.
