Mrs. Beverage, who was a daughter of the late Harvey Trimble, had reached the age of 64, and her death followed closely that of her aged husband who passed to his reward in October of last year. Mrs. Beverage, who was a daughter of the late Harvey Trimble, had reached the age of 64, and her death followed closely that of her aged husband who passed to his reward in October of last year. Surviving a serious illness prior to his death, she enjoyed comparatively good health until a few weeks ago, when her condition became serious. Her's was a life full of years and good works. In early girlhood she professed faith in Christ and during subsequent life remained faithful and true to the Master. During her last illness she spoke of the approaching end with calmness and confidence and faced the king of terrors without fear. Surviving her are four sons and one daughter: Isaac L. Beverage, county Surveyor of Highland; Edward and Coe, residents of Pocahontas; Byron, with whom she make her home, and Mrs. Bessie Showalter, of Warm Springs. All of them, except Coe, were present at the funeral, Coe being detained by illness in his own family. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church, of which she had been a member since early life, and was in charge of Rev. N.A. Parker in the absence of her own pastor, who is now attending annual conference. The large attendance was a striking testimonial of the esteem in which deceased was held, and the services were most impressive. Interment was in the Monterey cemetery.
