Jenny was not documented on the 1880 census because she was not born until after the census was taken. Jenny was married at thirteen to Alfred Franklin Tedder and had four children by the age of twenty as documented on the North Wilkesboro, Wilkes County, 1900 census. Jenny was not documented on the 1880 census because she was not born until after the census was taken. Jenny was married at thirteen to Alfred Franklin Tedder and had four children by the age of twenty as documented on the North Wilkesboro, Wilkes County, 1900 census. From Wilkes County Jenny and her family moved to Athens, WVA, where four more children were born. Three more children were born in Craig County at New Castle, Va. From there Jenny and her husband moved to Lexington, VA, where their last daughter was born. Jenny’s husband passed in 1928; she lived on the homeplace near Lexington on Brushy Hill until her death by a stroke in 1952. Both are buried in the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery in Lexington.
