Description	:	STANLEY, N.C. - The funeral for Mrs. Virginia Long Bankhead, 96, formerly of Sharon, who died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, in Jonesville will be 3 p.m. today at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Bankhead was a graduate of Winthrop College and taught in the York County schools. She served as a matron at the Episcopal Church Home for Children in York for 12 years.
