Description	:	Virginia Veronica (Meyer) Voytoski, 95, of Great Falls, a homemaker, died of natural causes Friday, July 22, at a local care facility. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Saturday in Geyser Cemetery, followed by a reception at Geyser School. Schnider Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Virginia was the third of 12 children born to Leonard and Rose Meyer. She was born Aug. 3, 1915, on a homestead north of Geyser, Mont., and attended grade school in a one-room schoolhouse near the family homestead. Virginia graduated in 1933 from Geyser High School, where she played on the girls' high school basketball team. Virginia worked as a housekeeper in Great Falls for Dr. and Mrs. Strain prior to her marriage, and later as a census worker for the Cascade County Assessor's Office. She met her future husband, Joseph "Wickie" Voytoski, of Belt, at a local dance. Virginia and Joe were married Aug. 14, 1937, in Geyser, and lived on the family ranch. They moved to Great Falls in 1938, and Virginia remained there until her death on July 22, 2011. Virginia and Joe had five children, three boys and two girls. The first born of their children, Leonard, died shortly after his birth. Virginia is survived by four children, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Virginia was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and was a member of Catholic Daughters. She belonged to Degree of Honor and the Rainbow Garden Club for many years. Virginia enjoyed playing cards at the senior center, Eagles Lodge and the Sons of Norway. She loved fishing and hunting with her beloved husband, "Wickie," watching sporting events on TV, especially football and golf, and most of all, loved to watch any events her grandchildren were involved in. Virginia was happiest when taking care of family and friends. Her kitchen always had the smell of freshly made cinnamon rolls, angel food cake, molasses cookies or rhubarb pie. Just ask anybody!
